Best temperature for vaping July 26 2014, 0 Comments

Most herbal blend vaporizers will give you the option to adjust the temperature. But how do you know which temperature setting is optimal for you?

For starters, you'll want to figure out what type of vapor quality you want. Do you prefer a thicker vapor or a thinner one? There are a couple different temperature techniques that you can use to create one or the other. If you're unsure, it's recommended that try both techniques until you figure out which one gives you the vaping experience that you want.

Thick vapor

If you prefer to have a thick vapor, or if you just want to set a temperature and forget about it without having to fiddle with different settings while vaping, then you'll want to use the thick vapor technique. It's simple: just set your vaporizer to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and keep vaping until you don't get any more vapor. Then you'll know that it's time to replace the herbal blend and start over. This temperature will produce a thick, flavorful vapor.

Thin vapor

For those who prefer thin vapor or want something that's not as demanding on your lungs, you'll want to use this technique. First, set your vaporizer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. After 15 minutes, start vaping. You'll get a pleasant, thin vapor. Once the vapor starts to get too thin, increase the temperature on your vaporizer by 10 degrees at a time to get more vapor out of your herbal blend while maintaining the same consistency.

The exact temperature that you set your vaporizer to is a matter of personal preference, but generally anywhere in the range of 350 to 380 degrees will be the optimum temperature to start at. You may have to experiment a little bit to find the precise temperature that gives you what you're looking for.
