Hemp and CBD Oil - Alphabetically: Z-A
What is CBD Oil?
CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is one of the 113 active cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. As one of the major components of cannabis, it accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract with THC accounting for most of the rest.
Unlike THC, CBD has no psychoactive effects, meaning that it will not get you high.
Yep, you read that right. Despite being one of the most prominent portions of the cannabis plant, CBD oil extract will have *zero* chance of getting you high. You can vape CBD oil and go about your day just like you normally would.
So if it doesn't get you high what's the point? Read on and find out.
What are the benefits of CBD?
CBD oil, such as Koi, has been shown to have a beneficial effect for a wide variety of different medical conditions including:
- Epilepsy (helps to reduce amount of seizures)
It's important to note that there is no guarantee that CBD oil will work for your specific condition. Every individual is different, with some reporting that they've received massive benefits and others finding out that it didn't really do anything for them. But if you're looking for a completely natural way to treat your condition, it's definitely worth a try to see if it helps.
As with anything else health-related, it's important to ask your doctor before you begin using CBD oil to find out if it's best for your unique needs.
Will CBD oil make me fail a drug test?
The answer is: highly unlikely.
Drug tests are designed specifically to test for THC, which is the psychoactive component of cannabis.
Since THC is widely regarded as being responsible for getting people high, the SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) guidelines ensure that a routine urine test has antibodies that are designed to detect THC while ignoring other cannabinoids.
Theoretically, it is possible to receive a false positive if using a *massive* amount of CBD oil every day (typically 1000mg-2000mg). If you're familiar with CBD oil, you'll know that virtually nobody uses this much on a daily basis. In the rare case that the initial urine screening shows a false positive, the confirmatory test (which is much more accurate) should come back negative and you'll be good to go.
So the bottom line is that you really have nothing to worry about when it comes to urine tests if you're vaping CBD oil. This is not guaranteed, and we can't be held liable if you fail a drug test because of using CBD. Use CBD at your own risk.
How can I use CBD oil?
CBD oil is compatible with any regular vape tank for e-juice. If you already have a box mod and a tank then you're good to go. If not I'd recommend checking out our selection of mod starter kits (which include both a mod and a compatible tank) to find one that best meets your needs.
